After
an initial telephone consultation with the responsible licensee
contact, a purpose statement is developed which is used as a basis
for the inquiry.
The
investigation then moves on-site where an investigative plan is
formulated followed by one-on-one interviews carried out in a
professional, non-confrontational manner.
As
a general rule, the licensee contact is briefed at the beginning
and end of each work day. Circumstances may preclude the briefings,
but such exceptions only occur with the consent of the licensee
or upon advice of corporate counsel.
